The ‘Collectanea’ by Pellegrino Prisciani. A Documentary Collection between Tradition and Modernity

Abstract

Within the rich manuscript production of Pellegrino Prisciani, the Collectanea are one of the most complex and elusive works in terms of gender, models, forms and functions. The study therefore intends to investigate their possible points of contact, but also of break, compared to the tradition of medieval chartularies.
