Abstract

The project features a methodological scheme, structured but flexible, easily adaptable to different contexts, projects, and situations. The scheme, supporting the library planning, is intended to be a useful tool to design and manage initiatives, especially in situations where the librarian works on his/her own, like in One-Person-Libraries (OPL). The key concept of this scheme is making university libraries, school libraries and public libraries (this is the source of the acronym ‘Busp’) work together in planning and managing initiatives. Two examples of initiatives based on this scheme are described: ‘BuspA2030_Art’ is related to target 4.7 (widespreading knowledge about the 2030 Agenda Goals), and ‘BuspA2030_Med’ is focused on target 3.6 (halving deaths and injuries due to road accidents by 2030). The scheme is supposed to help the design phase of the initiatives and to encourage librarians to explore a new area of action, such as the 2030 Agenda.
