Abstract

The paper presents the solutions adopted by the project portal «Una città per gli archivi» to address the main issues related to consultation of archival inventories through the web. The portal's design took advantage of the results of the most important user studies in an international context, with the aim of adapting the traditional finding aids to new ways of interacting users who browse the network.
