Abstract

The project arises from the analysis of the context in which we live and from the needs identified among the users of our libraries: the Biblioteca Classense (Ravenna), the Biblioteca Malatestiana (Cesena) and the Biblioteca Umanistica (University of Genoa).  We are planning several activities with the common purpose of promoting reading for everyone and of creating tools to improve the use of library’s spaces and services by people with disabilities. The project team will be properly trained, multi-professional, sensitive to diversity and able to generate partnerships with the territory. Through adequate signage, the historic-monumental spaces of our libraries can also be safer, more inclusive and suitable for everyone.
