Abstract

Critical comment on the online training course ‘Biblioteche e Agenda 2030’. Three are the main issues. Firstly, comparing the carried out works to reality, a contradiction arises: it is the delay between the expressed or hidden needs/questions and the possible answers and concrete actions. And the responsibility of politics prevails. Secondly, the main elements of the entire course are found inside the projects: the partnership among subjects, the exportability of the projects and their possible prototyping, as well as the link between theory and practice, and between local and global. Lastly, a path aimed at the development of the Agenda and the professionality of librarians is presented. It is grafted into the area of Law, especially in conceiving an Earth Constitution: it means living dynamically the Goals and using the 2030 Agenda as a lens on the past, a limit for the present, and a milestone for the future.
