Sometimes the antiquarian market signals to the student typographical rarities, as in the case of the printed libretto of the Goldoni’s ‘dramma giocoso per musica’ object of this essay, made even more attractive by the name of its composer, who is not the renowned Baldassarre Galuppi, on which were carried out relevant studies, but the little-known Girolamo Cordella. One more reason to trace the history and providing new information in Eighteenth-Century theater in general, by Goldoni in particular.
