The paper aims at presenting a project which involved the Codogno Council Library and the local secondary school Liceo «G. Novello». The project was intended to turn on the spotlights on the rare books held by the Library, especially the Sixteenth century ones. The students learned to recognize the printers’ devices, to study and to analyze them, as well as to use specific databases and reference works. Eventually, they created storytelling-movies, showing the development of printers’ devices. Such outputs are useful also to make the local community aware of the treasures held by their Library.
