MuMe - Museo della Memoria di San Miniato. A Digital Archive of Citizens at the Service of Collective Memory

Abstract

Historically, artistic practices have been measured through experiments aimed at the involvement and active participation of the public, as well as the themes of memory have been at the center of the most recent museological and museographic debate.
The experience of MuMe of San Miniato highlights how the creation of an inclusive archive of the «collective memory» can stimulate the engagement of the community to the protection and enhancement of its cultural heritage.
